Striving for personal freedom for all humans is my pursuit.

A free person selects and pursues their goals. Essential for personal freedom is the liberty to contemplate, reason and work, and to possess the gains made by these endeavors.

A free person controls and marshals their possessions. Utilizing their money and property greatly advances a person’s opportunities to investment their time, intellect, and labor. This fosters inspiration and resourcefulness, and propels commerce, science and art. Personal freedom best advances civilization.

Privately owned possessions are an essential resistance against the coercive force of government. People with privately assets protect their property and the property of their neighbors. People with property protect themselves and others from the plunder of others including the plunder by government.

Thus far in world history, personal freedom best prevails when governance systems provide predictable, universal and consistent rules of law, dedicated to protecting personal freedom and the rewards of a person’s labor and intellect – their possessions.

Democracy and Power appreciates the unique formation of the United States of America. A political organization dedicated to freedom, which recognized the importance of protecting personal liberty and private property. Democracy and Power totally abhors the inconsistency and moral wrong of slavery which is totally inconsistent with protecting personal liberty and the rewards of a person’s labor and intellect.

Democracy and Power is aware that all political organization are a product of compromise, and thus far have not endured the test of time, nor have achieved optimum safeguards for personal freedom.

Democracy and Power has three components:

  • Democracy and Power explores how the America government actually functions.
  • Personal Freedom and Power emphasizes the importance of private possessions and personal freedom.
  • Governance and Freedom emphasizes governance and societal structures and norms promoting freedom and prosperity.

A fourth component will be developed: the further development of philosophies, social norms or governance systems promoting personal freedom.
